16 Arrested in Special Operation in Mohammadpur

Police have arrested 16 individuals involved in various crimes during a day-long special operation in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

The matter was confirmed on Saturday (15 November) by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The arrested are Sumon (23), Naeem (20), Anwar (57), Masud Molla (33), Russel (30), Robiul (19), Sagar (27), Imon (24), Lalchan Badsha (24), Arafat Hossain Tuhin (21), Zobayer (20), Anwarul Islam (44), AKM Saeed (48), Robin (25), Imran (32), and Hasan (28).

DC Talebur Rahman stated that on Friday (14 November), Mohammadpur Police conducted operations in various areas, arresting 16 individuals who were regular case suspects, warrant-listed, or involved in other criminal activities, and sent them to court.

He added that such special operations will be conducted regularly to maintain law and order in the area.
