The final results of the 49th BCS (Special) Examination 2025 have been published. A total of 668 candidates have been provisionally nominated for various posts. The results were announced on Tuesday night.
According to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), “Among the candidates who passed the oral examination in the 49th BCS (Special) 2025, 668 have been provisionally nominated for appointment to 683 vacant positions in the BCS (General Education) cadre. However, 15 positions remain unfilled as no suitable candidates were found.”
This BCS was specifically organized for filling vacancies in the general education cadre. A total of over 312,000 candidates applied for the examination. Of them, 1,219 candidates passed the MCQ-based written exam. The notification for this special BCS was published on July 21, and the written examination took place on October 10.
