5 Deaths from Dengue in 24 Hours, 1,139 Hospitalized

In the past 24 hours, five more people have died from dengue fever in the country. During this period, 1,139 dengue patients were admitted to various hospitals across the country.

This information was provided in a press release sent by the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday.

The report states that in the past 24 hours, 397 patients were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka city, 223 in the Dhaka division (outside the city corporation), 179 in the Barisal division, 115 in the Chattogram division, 89 in the Khulna division, 82 in the Mymensingh division, 46 in the Rajshahi division, 5 in the Rangpur division, and 3 in the Sylhet division.

Additionally, so far this year, 81,773 people have been hospitalized due to dengue fever.
