Aastha Life Insurance Company Limited and Siamanto Bank PLC have formalised a Credit Shield insurance agreement, a move set to enhance financial protection for the bank’s credit cardholders. The signing ceremony took place on Sunday, 15 March, at the Siamanto Bank PLC headquarters, attended by senior executives from both organisations.
Brigadier General Shah Sagirul Islam, NDC, AFWC, PSC (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of Aastha Life, and Md. Nurul Azim, Managing Director of Siamanto Bank PLC, jointly signed the agreement. The partnership represents a strategic effort to integrate banking and insurance services, offering seamless financial protection to customers.
Under the agreement, all credit cardholders of Siamanto Bank PLC will automatically be enrolled in Aastha Life’s group life insurance programme. This ensures that in the event of an unforeseen incident, families of cardholders will receive financial support, thereby providing a vital safety net and peace of mind.
Md. Nurul Azim emphasised the importance of the initiative, stating, “Through this collaboration, our credit cardholders gain enhanced financial security. We are committed to protecting our customers’ lives and well-being, and this agreement is a meaningful step in that direction.”
