Actor Tinu Karim’s Condition Deteriorates Further

Actor Tinu Karim, who is currently on life support, has experienced a further deterioration in his health. Since last night, his blood pressure has dropped, and on Thursday morning doctors reported that despite their best efforts, no improvement has been seen. The update was confirmed by his wife, Humayra Nowshin.

Speaking about her husband’s condition, Humayra Nowshin said, “I spoke to the doctors this morning. They cannot say anything. They only mentioned that there is no improvement; rather, his condition has worsened. We have no option other than praying to Allah.”

She added that the family is considering transferring Tinu Karim to another hospital for advanced treatment.

However, any such decision will depend entirely on his physical condition. The actor had travelled to his ancestral home in Barishal on 8 November. While there, he suddenly fell ill. As his oxygen level began to drop, he was brought to Dhaka on 24 November.

He was subsequently admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Dhaka. Two days ago, when his condition slightly improved, he was shifted to a cabin. But on Wednesday, his blood pressure and sugar levels fell, causing him to lose consciousness. He was taken back to the ICU and later put on life support.

Asking for prayers from the nation, Humayra Nowshin said, “Everyone, please pray for my child’s father so that he returns to us.”

The actor is father to an 11-year-old daughter.

Tinu Karim made his television debut in 2001 with the drama Sakhar. In 2010, he made his film debut with Opeksha. He later appeared in numerous dramas and commercials, including Rat Jaga Phool and Alta Banu.
