Areas in Sylhet where electricity will be suspended for 10 hours today

Due to urgent transformer maintenance, conservation work, and cutting of tree branches, electricity will be unavailable in some areas of Sylhet city on Monday (1 December) from 7am to 5pm.

The Sylhet Electricity Development Board, Sales and Distribution Division-2, announced on Sunday that the 11 kV Spring Tower feeder line will be out of service, affecting D Block Main Road, E Block Point and surrounding areas.

The notice stated that if the work is completed earlier than scheduled, electricity supply will be restored sooner.

Executive Engineer Md. Abdur Razzak expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience to the city’s customers and requested their cooperation to ensure better service.
