Due to maintenance work, gas supply will be suspended in various areas of Narayanganj for 36 hours starting from 10 a.m. today, Thursday (October 30).
This information was recently shared in a statement by Titas Gas Authority.
According to the statement, gas supply will be completely cut off in Kanchpur area of Sonargaon upazila, Narayanganj, from 10 a.m. on Thursday (October 30) until 10 p.m. on Friday (October 31), a total of 36 hours. During this period, gas supply will be completely suspended in Kanchpur and surrounding areas, while supply in other areas will remain normal. Maintenance work, including modification of Haripur Bhault station and development and connection of gas pipelines, will take place. Domestic, commercial, and industrial customers will temporarily be deprived of gas supply.
The statement also advised that during the gas shutdown and before resuming supply, all stoves and gas connections must be turned off to prevent accidents.
Titas Gas further stated that gas supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the work and expressed apologies for the temporary inconvenience to customers.
