Bangladesh Islamic University Announces Faculty and Staff Recruitment

Dhaka, 26 December – Bangladesh Islamic University (BIU) in Dhaka has announced vacancies for faculty and administrative positions across several departments. Established in 2005, this private university seeks to enhance educational quality while strengthening administrative and security functions. Faculty Positions

Business Administration (Finance & Accounting):

Positions: Assistant Professor and Lecturer

Requirements:

Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the relevant field

At least three first-class results (CGPA 3.50 or higher) in academic history

Preference for candidates holding a PhD or MPhil

Research publications required

English Department:

Positions: Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer

Requirements:

Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English

Minimum two first-class results (CGPA 3.50 or higher)

Preference for candidates with ELT or TESOL qualifications

Research publications required

Administrative and Other Positions

Brand Manager & Public Relations Officer (PRO):

Master’s degree in a relevant field

For bachelor’s degree holders, three years of professional experience in government or private institutions

Proficiency in English and computer skills required

Preference for candidates with degrees in journalism or public relations

Administrative/Examination Officer:

Master’s or Kamil degree

English and computer literacy mandatory

Security Guard:

Candidates with experience in the armed forces, Ansar, VDP, or police eligible with minimum education up to class 8

For general applicants, SSC or equivalent qualification required
