Bangladesh Remain 184th in FIFA Rankings Despite Draw with Nepal

The world football governing body, FIFA, released its latest men’s football rankings today. Bangladesh, led by Jamal Bhuyan and his teammates, maintained their position at 184th place, the same spot they occupied in the July rankings.

Bangladesh’s Recent Matches and Ranking Context

  • Bangladesh played no international matches in July and August.
  • In September’s FIFA window, they were scheduled to play two matches against Nepal.
  • However, due to the situation in Kathmandu, Bangladesh managed to play only one fixture, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
  • As a result, both Bangladesh and Nepal’s rankings remained unchanged.
