The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed that Bangladesh will play all of their group-stage matches of the Asia Cup at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The regional T20 tournament is scheduled to commence on 9 September, with matches held across two venues in the United Arab Emirates. Alongside Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will also host games. The ACC has published the full schedule and venues on their official website.

Bangladesh has been drawn in Group B alongside Hong Kong, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. The Tigers will begin their campaign on 11 September against Hong Kong, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on 13 September, and will conclude their group matches against Afghanistan on 16 September.
Meanwhile, archrivals India and Pakistan are placed in Group A, along with Oman and hosts UAE. All Group A matches will be played in Dubai.
The tournament’s format dictates that the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, where each team plays the others once. The two leading teams from this phase will then contest the final on 28 September.
Dubai will host the majority of the tournament fixtures, including the final, with a total of 11 matches scheduled there. Abu Dhabi will host eight matches, including one Super Four encounter.
This year’s switch to the T20 format, rather than the traditional 50-over game, is designed to prepare teams for the upcoming T20 World Cup next year.
