A Bangladeshi expatriate has tragically lost his life in Johannesburg, South Africa, after being shot by unidentified assailants. The victim, Khaled Mahmud, was killed in a violent attack on Saturday morning, 31 January, local time.
According to local members of the Bangladeshi community in Johannesburg, Khaled was entering a car park on Eldispark Industrial Street at around 9:00 a.m. when the attackers opened fire. Passersby and nearby residents rushed to assist him, immediately transporting him to Johannesburg Hospital. Despite their efforts, doctors on duty pronounced him dead upon arrival.
