Bangladesh’s Mithila Leads in Votes at Miss Universe

Bangladesh’s representative, Tanzia Zaman Mithila, is making history at the 74th Miss Universe competition. Competing against contestants from 121 countries, Mithila has currently surged to the top of the ‘People’s Choice’ vote, bringing immense pride to her home nation.

The achievement has been confirmed via social media channels, including the official ‘Miss Universe Bangladesh’ accounts and Mithila’s personal page. The official Miss Universe Bangladesh page shared a celebratory message, stating: “We did it, Bangladesh. The country is now number one. Keep voting for Bangladesh until 19 November. Unstoppable Bangladesh.”

In a recently released photograph, Mithila can be seen in a white floral outfit, proudly holding the Bangladeshi flag and expressing her excitement. Another post encouraged supporters to continue voting: “Bangladesh is currently at the top of People’s Choice. Keep voting strongly until 19 November to maintain this position!”

However, the voting contest is far from over. The ‘People’s Choice’ vote will remain open until 19 November, and if Mithila maintains her lead, she will automatically secure the Miss Universe title.

Votes are fluctuating among other contestants during the competition, making it impossible to predict the final outcome at this stage. Mithila’s fans and supporters are rallying tirelessly to keep her in the lead, while also encouraging others to vote.

Her current success is not only a personal triumph but also a significant moment for Bangladesh on the international stage, highlighting the country’s talent, culture, and growing presence in global competitions.
