A Dubai-bound Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Dhaka with 395 passengers today made an emergency landing at Nagpur in India due to technical glitch.
"At approximately 10:45 PM, while in mid-air, the captain received a technical signal, prompting an emergency landing at the nearest airport, Nagpur in India," said a Biman press release here.
All passengers are being provided with full support at Nagpur Airport in a well-organized manner, it added.
The flight BG-347, a Boeing 777 aircraft, departed from Dhaka for Dubai with 395 passengers on board at 8:53 am.
Meanwhile, Biman said that another Biman Boeing 777 took off from Dhaka at 10:45 AM for Nagpur and landed at 12:39 PM to carry the stranded passengers.
