• The announcement was made on Sunday, 28 September, through a notification signed by Masuma Afrin, the BPSC Exam Controller (Cadre).
• S.M. Matiur Rahman, BPSC’s Public Relations Officer, also confirmed the news.

Details of the Offence

• During the examination, the candidate with roll number 15001520 tried to cheat by writing notes on their admit card.
• The BPSC stated that this act falls under the “Disciplinary Measures for Misconduct, 2000” and is considered a punishable offence.
• As a result, the candidate’s preliminary examination for the 47th BCS has been cancelled.

Additional Penalties

• The candidate has also been declared ineligible for any BPSC-conducted examination for the next year.
• Furthermore, they are barred from applying for any posts advertised by the commission during this period.
