BRAC Bank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Bangladesh Bank, has successfully concluded a month-long intensive training programme for entrepreneurs operating in the cottage, micro, small, and medium enterprise (CMSME) sector. The initiative aimed to equip young and dynamic business owners with practical skills and knowledge to strengthen their enterprises and foster sustainable growth.
The training was organised under the Strategic Industrial Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (SICIP), a flagship initiative of the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. Bangladesh Bank provided technical guidance and implementation support, ensuring that the curriculum remained highly relevant to the local business context while maintaining international standards of quality.
The closing ceremony of the second batch took place on 4 December 2025 at a prominent hotel in Sirajganj. Certificates of completion were awarded to 25 participating entrepreneurs, recognising their successful engagement in the programme. Senior officials from Bangladesh Bank and BRAC Bank attended the event to honour and encourage the participants.
