Brazil will play two high-profile friendlies in South Korea and Japan this October, as the three nations intensify their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Coached by Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil are considered among the favourites for the tournament.
Match Schedule
| Date | Opponent | Venue | Capacity |
| 10 October 2025 | South Korea | Seoul World Cup Stadium, Seoul | 66,000 |
| 14 October 2025 | Japan | Tokyo Stadium, Tokyo | ~50,000 |
The Korea Football Association confirmed that the first fixture will see Brazil face South Korea, captained by Son Heung-min, at the 66,000-seater Seoul World Cup Stadium. Four days later, Brazil will meet Japan at Tokyo Stadium, which holds just under 50,000 spectators, according to the Japan Football Association.
Brazil’s last tour of East Asia came in June 2022, just before the Qatar World Cup. On that occasion:
Once Brazil’s talisman, Neymar (33) has not featured for the national team in almost two years, following a series of persistent injuries. He was also excluded from Ancelotti’s latest squad.
Despite Neymar’s absence, Brazil will look to build momentum and sharpen their squad as they prepare for the World Cup campaign in 2026.
