Former Pakistani cricket stars have voiced deep concern over the deteriorating health of , the 1992 World Cup-winning captain. Reports suggest that while serving time in prison, he has suffered significant loss of vision in his right eye, prompting widespread appeals for immediate medical intervention.
The 73-year-old politician and former cricketer is currently serving sentences across multiple cases. His legal team has emphasised that serious eye complications have left him with a substantial impairment of vision, attributing this largely to delays in receiving appropriate medical care.
Legendary pacer took to social media to urge authorities to take swift action. In his statement, he described the news as “deeply distressing” and appealed for the provision of the highest standard of medical treatment, expressing hope for Khan’s speedy recovery.
