Cricket South Africa (CSA) has made a change to its previously announced squad for the One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia, adding Kuna Mafaka to the team.
South Africa recently concluded a T20I series against Australia, which they lost. Despite the team defeat, Mafaka delivered an impressive performance with the ball throughout the series, earning recognition for his efforts. Although he was not included in the initially announced ODI squad, his consistent performance has now secured him a place.
Mafaka has previously represented South Africa in ODI cricket, playing two matches so far and taking five wickets.
The ODI series will commence in Cairns on Tuesday, with the second and third matches scheduled for Friday and Sunday, respectively.
