A cocktail explosion occurred at the picture market adjacent to Shahbagh’s Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital, but no casualties have been reported.
The incident took place on Monday (17 November) at 9:55 am. By around 10:30 am, Shahbagh Police Station’s duty officer, Sub-Inspector (SI) Rajib Chowdhury, confirmed the news.
He stated that they received information about a cocktail explosion at the picture market near Suhrawardy Udyan. A police team has been sent to the scene and is carrying out investigations.
Local sources said that criminals detonated a cocktail at the picture market on the southern side of Shahbagh Police Station and fled the scene. No one was injured.
