Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Nomination Collection Begins Today

The collection of nomination forms for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Hall Union Elections 2025 commences today, with each nomination form priced at Tk 300.

According to a press release issued on Monday (11 August) by the Public Relations Office of Dhaka University, candidates may collect their nomination forms from 12 August to 18 August, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm daily. The final deadline for submission is 19 August at 3:00 pm.

Collection & Submission Process

• DUCSU Nomination Forms:
  Must be collected and submitted in person at the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, located on the third floor of the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.
• Hall Union Nomination Forms:
  Must be collected and submitted in person to the respective Hall Returning Officers during the same period.

Additional Voter List Regulations

As per the notice, even after the final voter list for DUCSU and Hall Union Elections 2025 is published, any expelled student or student accused in a legal case whose name appears in the list will be removed upon verification and receipt of valid evidence.

This year’s elections mark a significant step towards revitalising student representation at Dhaka University, with the administration emphasising transparency and adherence to the rules throughout the nomination process.
