Dhallywood Star Pori Moni Admitted to Hospital with Her Children

Dhallywood actress Pori Moni has been admitted to hospital along with her two children. In a Facebook post late on Monday night, she revealed the family’s health struggles, stating that her daughter is in the ICU, her son is suffering from a high fever, and she herself is bedridden with a high temperature.

In her post, Pori Moni wrote:

“My daughter is in the ICU! My son has a fever of 102°F. I have a fever of 103.5°F, cough, and difficulty breathing.”

Her assistant confirmed that, following medical advice, Pori Moni was also admitted to hospital. Currently, her daughter Safira Sultana Priyam is being treated in the ICU.

It is believed that the family contracted the virus during a private family celebration held on 10 August for her son Padma’s third birthday.

The assistant added that although her breathing difficulties have slightly improved, Pori Moni continues to suffer from fever and body pain. She will need several days of rest under hospital supervision.

Meanwhile, Pori Moni is scheduled to begin shooting for her upcoming film ‘Golap’ soon. The political thriller, directed by Samsul Huda, features her opposite actor Nirob.

This hospitalisation comes amid concerns for the actress and her family’s wellbeing, prompting fans to send messages of support on social media.
