The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has directed that all banners, festoons, and posters installed illegally across the capital must be removed within the next seven days.
This order was issued through a public notice on Tuesday (18 November).
According to the notice, any banners, festoons, posters, and advertising boards, including signboards and LED billboards, placed on rooftops or walls of houses or buildings within the jurisdiction of DNCC without proper authority must be removed by the responsible individuals or organisations at their own responsibility within seven days.
Failure to comply within the stipulated time will result in eviction, fines, and other legal measures by DNCC.
