A harrowing road traffic accident in Dhamrai has resulted in the deaths of two men following a high-stakes chain reaction on the Kalampur-Saturia regional highway. The incident, which occurred on Thursday afternoon in the Batulia area, involved a motorcycle, a bicycle, and a heavy goods vehicle, underscoring the ongoing perils faced by commuters on regional arterial roads.
The tragedy unfolded when a motorcycle, travelling from Dhaka towards the Rajapur area of Dhamrai, collided head-on with a bicycle approaching from the opposite direction. He was the son of Shamshul Huq Mollick of Rajapur village. The second victim was Abdul Kuddus, 65, a local farmer from Singshree village in the Kushura Union.
