Indian authorities have apprehended eight individuals in connection with plans to carry out a major terrorist attack, with the operation reportedly supported by Pakistan’s ISI and a Bangladesh-based extremist network. The arrests took place across the states of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, and among those detained is at least one Bangladeshi national, according to a report by Indian news outlet NDTV on Sunday, 22 February.
