England and India are preparing to unveil refreshed line-ups as the fifth and final Test of a thrilling, hard-fought, and often contentious series begins at The Oval on Thursday.

With the series delicately poised at 2-1 in England’s favour, both sides are making strategic adjustments in what promises to be a dramatic conclusion.

England’s Line-up Reshaped After Stokes’ Blow

England have confirmed the absence of captain Ben Stokes, who has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury—a significant setback for the hosts.

Stokes, 34, played a pivotal role in the drawn fourth Test at Old Trafford, where he became only the fourth English player to record a century and a five-wicket haul in the same match.
