Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has expressed strong outrage after her name was linked to financial fraud allegations exceeding ₹60 crore against her husband, Raj Kundra. She has threatened to take legal action against the spread of false information and defamatory reports.
Recently, Raj Kundra has been accused of defrauding over ₹60 crore. The complainants claimed that the money was transferred to the bank accounts of four actresses, including Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, and Neha Dhupia.
Shilpa Shetty’s legal representative has categorically denied these claims, describing them as completely false and baseless. The lawyer stated: “My client did not conduct any transaction of ₹15 crore ten years ago. Those spreading such false information will face strict legal action.”
The lawyer further added: “We are investigating the sources of these false reports. Any media outlet attempting to defame my client through misinformation will be subject to criminal proceedings. As the matter is sub judice, we cannot comment further.”
Regarding the ₹60 crore fraud allegations, Raj Kundra remarked:“I would say, please wait a little longer. We have not engaged in any wrongdoing in our lives, nor will we. The truth will emerge very soon.”
