The Department of Meteorology has instructed four of the country’s sea ports to display a Signal No. 3 alert. The agency has warned of the possibility of strong winds blowing over the northern Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh’s coastal areas, and the sea ports.
The latest update on the weather situation was provided on the morning of Wednesday, 20 August.
According to the report, active seasonal winds continue to generate cloud formations over the northern Bay of Bengal.
As a result, gusty or stormy winds may affect the northern Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh’s coastal regions, and the sea ports.
