Garage Owner Dies from Electric Shock in Dinajpur

A tragic incident occurred in Dinajpur on Saturday, 27 September, when Tarikul Islam Babu (38), a garage owner, died after being electrocuted.

The accident took place at around 9:00 am at an e-bike garage located in Upazila Sub-city, Block 4 (Staff Quarter East Gate). The deceased, Tarikul Islam Babu, was the son of the late Mohsin Ali of Block 4.

 

According to the family of Tarikul Islam Babu, he owned an e-bike garage attached to his home, where he repaired and charged electric bikes. On the morning of the accident, he noticed that the bikes charged overnight had not been properly charged. While inspecting the reason for the charging failure, he received an electric shock and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The former councillor of Dinajpur Municipality, Abu Tayyeb Ali Dulal, confirmed the incident.
