Incident Context

The gas balloon explosion disrupted the scheduled programme marking the “July Mass Uprising Day”, which commemorates a pivotal movement in the nation’s political history. Although the nature of the balloon setup remains unclear, preliminary indications suggest the blast was unintentional and caused by mishandling or over-compression of gas-filled balloons.

Authorities have not yet issued an official investigation report, and further updates may follow pending inquiry results.
