Gold Prices Today: 1 December 2025

On Monday (1 December), the price of gold in the country is set at BDT 210,570 per bhori. Following a BDT 2,403 decrease on Saturday (29 November), the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the new rate.

The increase in the local market price of pure gold (tejabi gold) has prompted the revision. According to the new rates, 22-carat gold costs BDT 210,570 per bhori, 21-carat BDT 201,006, 18-carat BDT 172,289, and traditional gold BDT 143,327 per bhori.

BAJUS stated that the sale price must include a 5% government VAT and 6% minimum labour charge set by BAJUS, with variations depending on design and quality.

Earlier, on 20 November, BAJUS had adjusted the market price of 22-carat gold to BDT 208,167 per bhori.

Silver prices remain unchanged. 22-carat silver sells at BDT 4,246 per bhori, 21-carat at BDT 4,047, 18-carat at BDT 3,476, and traditional silver at BDT 2,601 per bhori.
