Government Releases Names of Victims in Milestone Fighter Jet Crash

The government has officially published the names of the deceased and injured in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) fighter jet crash that struck Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, earlier this week. The announcement was made by the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser’s Office this afternoon.

Casualties: Confirmed Deaths and Injuries

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), as of 10:30 AM today, the crash has resulted in:

  • Total deaths: 29
  • Total injured: 57 (undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the capital)
  • Identified deceased: 22
  • Unidentified bodies: 7 (DNA identification underway)

The injured are being treated in consultation with a medical team from Singapore General Hospital, who arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday to assist local healthcare providers with advanced burn care and trauma support.
