The government has made a policy decision to establish a new independent public university called ‘Dhaka Central University’ by integrating the seven government colleges in the capital, while canceling their affiliation with Dhaka University.
The Ministry of Education states that this initiative has been taken to ensure quality education, timely examinations, quick publication of results, and improved administrative efficiency.
This information was shared in a press release sent by the Ministry’s Public Relations Department on Tuesday (18th November).
