The winners of the Grammy Awards 2026, the most prestigious accolades in the global music industry, have been officially announced. This year’s ceremony saw stellar performances and celebrated achievements by artists including Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, and Lady Gaga.
The glittering event took place on Sunday, 1 February, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA. The ceremony, renowned for its star-studded line-up and spectacular performances, was hosted for the sixth consecutive year by popular comedian Trevor Noah. On stage, the awards were presented by renowned artists such as Harry Styles, Charli XCX, and Shapelle Rowan, adding further glamour to the evening.
Puerto Rican sensation Bad Bunny won the Album of the Year award for his critically acclaimed album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos. Rap powerhouse Kendrick Lamar dominated multiple categories, earning Record of the Year for Luther and Best Rap Album for GNX, along with awards in Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish clinched Song of the Year for her hit Wild Flower, while pop icon Lady Gaga secured two awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album for Mahem and Best Dance-Pop Recording for Abracadabra.
South Asian music enthusiasts were keenly watching the nominations of Indian artists Anoushka Shankar, Siddhant Bhatia, Shakti, and Charu Suri, who received nods in various categories. However, none of them were able to take home a trophy this year.
