Hero Alam demands BNP to nominate Rumin Farhana

Ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary election, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced potential candidates, leaving 63 constituencies without finalized nominees. Among them is Barister Rumin Farhana, the party’s Deputy Secretary for International Affairs, expected to contest the Brahmanbaria-2 seat (covering two unions of Sarail-Ashuganj-Bijoynagar).

In this context, the popular content creator Hero Alam has urged BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to consider nominating Rumin Farhana.

On Monday (November 3), a few hours after the announcement of candidate names, Hero Alam wrote on Facebook, “Rumin Farhana Apa, a loyal companion in BNP’s difficult times, a devoted leader, and a voice against tyranny. She has repeatedly protested in the media with a strong voice when I was attacked. She had excelled in the race for nomination, yet BNP has committed a major injustice by not nominating her.”

He added, “I request Tarique Rahman Bhai, the future nation-builder, to consider this matter carefully. We need people like Rumin Farhana Apa to build a tyranny-free country.”
