‘Homebound’ Selected for Oscars, Surpassing 24 Films

India’s entry for this year’s Academy Awards has been announced as Neeraj Ghaywan’s film ‘Homebound’, which has surpassed 24 other films in the selection process.

The announcement was made on Friday at a press conference in Kolkata by the Film Federation of India. The film will now represent India on the international stage.
