IDRA Announces Deputy Director Examination Results

The Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh (IDRA) has officially released the written examination results for the Grade-7 Deputy Director post. Candidates who successfully passed the written test are scheduled to attend the oral assessment on 3 February 2026.

The notification was signed by Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque, a member of IDRA’s administration and Chair of the Selection Committee for Grades 6 to 11. According to the notice, the written examination for the Deputy Director position was conducted on 31 January 2026 as part of IDRA’s standard recruitment process.

Under IDRA’s recruitment regulations, candidates who succeed in the written examination are nominated for the oral evaluation. This stage assesses professional competence, administrative capability, decision-making skills, and overall suitability for the role. The rigorous selection process ensures that only highly qualified individuals are appointed, contributing to improved efficiency and professionalism within Bangladesh’s insurance sector.

The Administration-1 Division of IDRA stated that candidates who participated in the written test were recruited following the job announcement published on 23 April 2025. The forthcoming oral assessment will meticulously evaluate candidates’ professional aptitude, administrative skills, and decision-making ability.

In addition to the Deputy Director post, IDRA has indicated plans to expedite the publication of results for other positions, including Assistant Director, to ensure transparency in the recruitment process. Simultaneously, the authority continues to monitor the growth of the insurance sector, premium collection, and company operations, aiming to uphold professional standards and ensure balanced sectoral development.
