The 20th edition of the TMSS Channel i Music Awards was held in a grand open-air setting at the Momo Inn Five Star Hotel and Resort in Bogura, bringing together some of the most celebrated names in Bangladesh’s music industry. The glittering ceremony took place on Tuesday evening (7 April), marking yet another milestone in one of the country’s most respected recognitions for musical excellence.

The event celebrated outstanding contributions across multiple categories, with special attention given to works released in 2024. Among the highlights of the evening was the joint recognition awarded to popular singer Imran Mahmudul and vocalist Sinthi Saha for their rendition of the song “Prem Bujhi”, featured in the television drama Tilottoma. The track earned widespread acclaim following its release and stood out for its lyrical depth and musical composition.

The song’s lyrics, composition, and arrangement were crafted by Syed Nafis, whose creative input played a central role in shaping its emotional tone and popularity. Speaking after the announcement, Nafis expressed his gratitude, stating that although he was unable to attend the ceremony in person, receiving recognition for his work brought him immense joy. He also credited the performers and the drama’s director for contributing to the song’s success, noting that audience appreciation upon release had been particularly encouraging.
