Instructions Issued to Conduct Online Classes at Dhaka University

To keep academic activities running smoothly, Dhaka University has decided to introduce online classes across all departments and institutes from tomorrow, Sunday (30 November). Departmental chairmen and institute directors will begin online classes in coordination with their respective deans. These online classes will continue until further notice.

Regarding the renovation of buildings damaged by the earthquake and aftershocks, decisions about the winter vacation will be announced later based on the assessments of an inspection team composed of engineers. The university authorities have also requested everyone concerned to cooperate in ensuring uninterrupted academic activities.

Earlier, in the emergency situation following the earthquake, Dhaka University was declared closed until 6 December. However, instructions have now been issued to continue academic activities online during this period.
