INTIM Marks 25 Years of Music and Humanity

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Celebrating a remarkable quarter-century of musical excellence and humanitarian commitment, Malaysia’s renowned nasheed ensemble INTIM held a special silver jubilee concert, “Concert Twenty-Five Tahun INTIM Nur Kasih”, on Sunday at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. The arena was filled with music enthusiasts and socially conscious attendees, reflecting the widespread admiration for the group’s dual contributions to art and society.

The evening was not merely a showcase of INTIM’s artistic journey but also a testament to the power of music as a force for good. In a significant gesture of charity, the group donated 10,000 Malaysian Ringgit to Persatuan Kebajikan Al-Fikrah Malaysia, demonstrating how musical success can translate into tangible social impact. This philanthropic initiative was made possible with the support of legendary singer Datuk M. Nasir and concert organisers ICON Entertainment. Member Rahim remarked, “We believe that the joy of music should go hand in hand with visible contributions to society. This donation is a reflection of that belief.”

A highlight of the evening occurred when Datuk M. Nasir presented a symbolic cheque on stage and subsequently joined INTIM in performing his iconic song “Bonda”. The performance resonated deeply with the audience, blending themes of maternal devotion, cultural heritage, and social connection—epitomising the concert’s central ethos: music as a vehicle for compassion and communal unity.

Musically, the concert was a comprehensive retrospective of INTIM’s 25-year journey, featuring more than 25 of their most beloved nasheed tracks.
