Following consecutive tours to Zimbabwe and South Africa, the Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team returned home last month. After a short rest, the young cricketers resumed training on 23 August. After about a week of preparation, the squad departed for England last Sunday to compete in a bilateral series.
Notably, star pacer Iqbal Hossain Emon will be absent for the England series. During the last tri-nation series, he suffered a side strain injury, which is preventing his participation.
Emon is currently undergoing recovery sessions in Mirpur and is expected to return to competitive cricket in approximately one month. If all goes according to plan, he will make his comeback during the Under-19 Asia Cup scheduled for November.

Bangladesh U19 will play a five-match ODI series in England:
| Match | Date |
| 1 | 5 September |
| 2 | 7 September |
| 3 | 10 September |
| 4 | 12 September |
| 5 | 14 September |
