Iran Says It Will Not Resume Nuclear Talks with Europeans ‘At This Stage’

Iran has announced that it has no immediate plans to resume negotiations with European nations regarding its nuclear programme, following the reimposition of sanctions, according to a statement from the Iranian foreign ministry on Monday.

Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said:“We have no plans for negotiations at this stage.”

He further explained that Iran is currently assessing the consequences and implications of the sanctions recently reinstated by France, Britain, and Germany.
