Is Tahsan really entering politics?

A few days ago, Tahsan Khan announced that he would quit singing. Earlier, he had also stepped away from acting. During this period, rumors spread that he might enter politics. Now, the star has addressed the issue himself.

Tahsan had announced his retirement in Australia, but he did not expect it to spread so widely. He said, “During the concert in Melbourne, Australia, I mentioned quitting singing. Only a few people were there. I did not expect it to spread across the country. Just as I gradually took a break from acting, I will do the same with singing. I am a bit emotional, a poetic person. I spoke in a way that it spread. That one statement of mine caused many things to happen.”

The rumor about Tahsan joining politics began alongside his retirement announcement. Some claimed that he had joined a religion-based political party.

Tahsan has also noticed this. He said, “At one place, I saw my picture with a cap being associated with a political party. They are claiming I am entering politics!”

Regarding those responsible, Tahsan said, “I think these are part of the game. Like a sport. Nowadays, some people are obsessed with going viral. This happens all over the world. That’s why one must speak very carefully. You have to think about what could happen from a single statement.”

Alongside singing and acting, Tahsan has also taught at several private universities. After retiring, he is considering focusing more on teaching. He said, “Every person’s life has different chapters. In the first chapter, it feels like I know nothing. In the second chapter, it feels like I know a lot and there’s nothing left to learn. I was in that chapter. Recently, I feel I know nothing about life and the world. I need to study more.”

Tahsan has deactivated his Facebook page with nearly one crore followers and his Instagram account with over 3.5 million followers. He has taken this step to distance himself from the toxicity of social media.

He said, “A retired person does not need these. Social media is extremely toxic. The spread of negativity far outweighs the good, and it has been very annoying for a long time. I want people to slowly forget me. Staying on social media would make that take longer.”
