Israel Airstrikes Kill Hezbollah Commander, 12 Dead

At least twelve people, including a senior Hezbollah commander, have been killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes across eastern and southern Lebanon. Casualties and Extent of the Strikes

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that ten people were killed and 24 others wounded in various locations in the Bekaa Valley, including three children. Meanwhile, the National News Agency cited additional casualties in the same region, reporting six dead and 25 injured. Discrepancies between reports highlight the challenges of verifying figures in conflict zones.

A separate strike hours earlier hit one of Lebanon’s largest Palestinian refugee camps. Israeli statements indicated that the operation targeted Hamas infrastructure within the camp.

Hezbollah confirmed that a high-ranking commander was killed in the Bekaa Valley strikes. The Israeli military stated that the operations aimed at Hezbollah command centres across Lebanon.
