JASAD Central Committee Expresses Deep Condolences on the Passing of Adv. Masud Parvez Naushad
The Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASAD) Central Executive Committee has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the death of Advocate Masud Parvez Naushad, a courageous leader of the student movement against communal oppression and military rule, former elected Vice President (1990) of SM Hall, Rajshahi University, and Joint General Secretary of JASAD’s Sirajganj District branch.
In a condolence message issued on the morning of Thursday, 29 January 2026, the JASAD Central Committee paid heartfelt tribute to the memory of the departed leader and extended sincere condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, and political comrades.
The message stated:
“Advocate Masud Parvez Naushad was an idealistic, uncompromising, and committed political activist. Without concern for personal gain, he devoted his entire life to upholding the ideals of the nation, the people, and JASAD, performing his political duties with utmost dedication. Without ever falling into political confusion, he upheld JASAD’s red flag until his final days.”
The statement further highlighted that in 1988, on the night after Eid, Naushad survived severe persecution at the hands of fundamentalist communal forces. Despite this, he never wavered from the path of uncompromising struggle. His life remains a singular example of resistance against communalism and authoritarianism.
Advocate Masud Parvez Naushad passed away on 29 January 2026 at 9:14 a.m. in Sirajganj city. He was 62 years old and is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, and numerous relatives, colleagues, and admirers.
His funeral prayers will be held at 4:30 p.m. on 29 January 2026 at the Madrasah Ground, Malshapara Municipal Cemetery, Sirajganj, followed by burial.
The JASAD Central Committee prays for the eternal peace of the departed leader’s soul and reiterates its deepest sympathy to the grieving family.
