Ahead of the Asia Cup, Bangladesh are set to face the Netherlands in a three-match T20 series to be held in Sylhet. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced the full list of match officials for the series. The opening T20 is scheduled for 30 August.
A notable highlight of the announcement is the inclusion of Sathira Zakir Jeci as a fourth umpire in the opening fixture. Jeci, who has also officiated in the Women’s ODI World Cup, will become the first female umpire from Bangladesh to officiate in men’s international cricket.
