Joint Forces Arrest ‘July Warrior’ with 21 Bottles of Phensedyl in Thakurgaon

In a joint operation in Thakurgaon, authorities apprehended Md. Selim Reza (25), a listed ‘July warrior’, along with 21 bottles of Indian-made Phensedyl and cash.

The arrest took place at approximately 10:00 pm on Monday (11 August) in the Maheshpur area of Shibganj Jamalpur Union, Sadar Upazila.

Details Confirmed by Police

At 11:40 pm, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station, Md. Sarwar Alam Khan, confirmed the arrest. Selim Reza is the son of Md. Khurshid Ali of Maheshpur village.

According to the OC, the operation was conducted based on a secret tip-off. During the raid, 21 bottles of Indian Phensedyl and Tk 42,000 in cash were recovered from Selim Reza.

Legal proceedings under the Narcotics Control Act are currently underway.
