Katrina Kaif to Become a Mother at 42, Family Excited but Concerned

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has officially announced that she is expecting her first child. At the age of 42, Katrina will embrace motherhood this October, ending months of speculation. She and her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, shared the news on their social media accounts, creating an atmosphere of joy within their family, albeit mixed with some concern, according to Vicky’s brother, Sunny Kaushal.

Rumours of Katrina’s pregnancy had been circulating since last year. The couple, who married in December 2021, confirmed the news of their first child approximately three and a half years after their wedding.

Recently, Katrina and Vicky shared a photograph of the expectant mother on social media, showing Katrina dressed in white, with Vicky gently touching her baby bump. The couple captioned the post: “A beautiful new chapter of our lives is about to begin. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude.”

Vicky’s brother, Sunny Kaushal, spoke about the couple’s happy news in a recent interview. He revealed that the family is thrilled, but also experiencing a touch of concern due to Katrina’s age. Sunny said: “It’s certainly joyful news. Everyone is very happy. But at the same time, everyone is a little anxious. We are all eagerly waiting for that special day.”

Katrina’s focus on family life, marriage, and children is not new. She had discussed family planning with Vicky almost a decade before their wedding in 2021. Katrina has often emphasised that she values her home, husband, and children above all else.
