On 14 February 2026, the renowned Bangladeshi singer Kumar Bishwajit will perform a special solo concert, “BC Valentine 2026: Kumar Bishwajit Live”, at the Grand Cinnamon Banquet Hall in Scarborough, Toronto. The event promises an enchanting evening for the Bangladeshi diaspora, bringing together music lovers in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Attendees can expect a soulful performance blending timeless classics with contemporary hits, creating a festive atmosphere for the community.

For Kumar Bishwajit, the upcoming concert carries profound personal significance. In February 2023, his only son, Kumar Nibiro, suffered serious injuries in a road accident. Following extensive treatment across multiple Canadian hospitals, Nibiro is now receiving regular physiotherapy at a specialised rehabilitation centre in Mississauga. Throughout this challenging period, Kumar Bishwajit and his wife have devoted countless hours to supporting their son’s recovery.

Despite these personal hardships, Bishwajit has continued an active professional life, performing across Canada, the United States, and Europe, maintaining his global connection with audiences. His resilience and dedication to music exemplify his enduring commitment to both family and art.

Local organiser and real estate entrepreneur Din Islam confirmed that tickets for the concert are available for interested attendees. During a press conference in Toronto, Bishwajit assured fans that the performance would be a memorable one.

Speaking about the concert, Kumar Bishwajit said,
"My audience is part of my family. Even during personal trials, singing for them feels natural. Through this concert, I want to connect with my listeners through the power of music."
