Kureghar Band Marks Ten Years of Musical Excellence

On 5 January 2017, a group of passionate music enthusiasts came together to form Kureghar Band, embarking on a journey that would soon leave an indelible mark on Bangladesh’s contemporary music scene. Initially gaining attention through popular cover songs, the band quickly evolved to introduce a distinctive, innovative style to mainstream music. Over the past ten years, Kureghar Band has come to be recognised as a symbol of creativity, musical refinement, and social relevance.

On 5 January 2026, the band celebrated its ninth anniversary and officially entered its tenth year. To commemorate this milestone, Kureghar Band released a new single titled “Tai To Elam Sagore”, available on their official YouTube channel. Tasrif Khan, the band’s musical director and lead vocalist, shared,

“We recorded this music video in 2022, but due to timing constraints, it wasn’t released then. Presenting it on our ninth anniversary makes this moment truly special. The newly remastered version offers an enhanced sound experience, giving the song an entirely new dimension.”

Tasrif further revealed that the band plans to release two additional singles later this month, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining a continuous connection with their audience through regular releases.

Beyond their musical achievements, Kureghar Band is also active in social and humanitarian initiatives. Their efforts include support for Rohingya refugees, educational development for marginalized children, and aid for communities affected by natural disasters. During their anniversary celebrations, the band participated in winter relief distributions, charity concerts, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programmes, blending artistic influence with social responsibility.
