Officials have warned that the monsoon-induced hazards are likely to continue as heavy rains persist, increasing the risk of further landslides, flash floods, and river overflows.
Rescue and relief operations are underway, with local authorities and national disaster response teams working to locate missing individuals and provide emergency assistance to affected communities.
The Nepalese government has urged residents in vulnerable areas to exercise caution, avoid travel through landslide-prone regions, and follow instructions from local authorities.
